2021 Sonata New Features and Changes
The 2021 Sonata gets new great new features to make it an even more attractive option that the 2020 Sonata already was. Most immediately noticeable is the all new Pirelli P Zero all-season tires mounted to new 19-inch rims on the SEL Plus model. They give the 2021 Sonata a sporty boost to its handling. Inside, the 2021 Sonata SEL, SEL Plus, and Limited all have a brand-new safe-exit warning alert system that lets passengers know when it’s safe to exit the vehicle while it parallel parked. The Limited trim also gets a six-way power-adjustable front seat; the 2020 model only have a manually-adjustable front seat.
2021 Sonata Fuel Economy
The 2021 Sonata comes in four trims: SE, SEL, SEL Plus, and Limited. The SE and SEL are powered by a 191-horsepower 2.5L four-cylinder. The SE is estimated at 28/38/32 mpg and the SEL gets 27/37/31 mpg. Both the SEL Plus and Limited trims are rated at 27/37/30 mpg.
