2021 Hyundai N-Line Lineup: Models and Specs
Not everyone wants the most horsepower or the fastest 0-60 times, but some people definitely do. Luckily, Hyundai has a few models just for those kinds of customers: the N-Line. The N-Line and N trims focus on the driving experience, with powerful turbocharged engines paired to dual-clutch automatics or classic manual transmissions.
The 2021 Hyundai N-Line lineup has changed significantly from 2020. Take a look for yourself.
2021 Hyundai N-Line Models

Hyundai has changed their N-Line and N offerings from 2020. Two new N-Line models are available and one has been cut. The 2021 Hyundai models with a N-Line or N trim include:
- Elantra N-Line
- Sonata N-Line
- Veloster N
Notably, the Elantra GT N-Line hatchback has been removed for the line-up. There has been no official explanation, but overlap with the popular Veloster N hatchback and the new Elantra N-Line might have made the Elantra GT model redundant.
N-Line Performance Specs
Given that the N-Line and N trims are all about performance, it’s natural to want to know how they stack up.
- Elantra N-Line: 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder – 201 hp / 195 lb-ft
- Sonata N-Line: 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder – 290 hp / 310 lb-ft*
- Veloster N: 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder – 275 hp / 260 lb-ft
For each model, the larger the engine displacement, the heavier the vehicle. Each model is also available with a eight-speed dual-clutch automatic or a six-speed manual transmission.
*Official numbers have not yet been announced; specs are from 2020 version of the same engine
